Official’s Uniform •Cloth face coverings are required. • Officials must enter the school wearing face coverings. • In addition to the gray polo shirts, short or long-sleeved, all-white collared polo shirt/sweater are permissible. 1. Scoring Format: The scoring format to be used for the district and state series competition will be: best three-out-of-five sets; the first four sets shall be rally scored to 25 points; with no point caps. The fifth and deciding set shall be 15 points (no cap), and a team must win by two points (NFHS Rule 1-4).
Uniforms must meet the requirements of Rule 4 of the NFHS Volleyball Rules book. Rule 4-2-2c states…on the solid uniform top piping/trim not exceeding 1-inch in total at its widest point may be placed along the seams and may be a different color than the uniform top. The League’s interpretation of this is that if the piping/trim is less than an inch we will allow even if the piping does not appear on a seam.
